P-7100 Upgraded Pump Camshaft - OUT OF STOCK







The V1 Standard Rotation P-7100 pump cam is made in the USA out of 8620 gas carburized steel. This cam features the same lift as the OEM cam, but greatly shortens the number of degrees of total injection, all while greatly increasing the amount of fill-time.

In a 13mm pump, this cam injects a maximum of 5.681cc per degree at maximum velocity compared to 5.100cc per degree with a stock 180hp/215hp pump cam. Not only does it have a higher total velocity but it has a higher average across any .250″ of the cam. If the cam is setup properly in your pump, you can expect a wider power band with 10-80hp gains.  It also common to see improved throttle response and better fuel economy.

IMPORTANT NOTE - This cam needs to be installed by qualified professionals only. When doing a performance pump cam in your P-7100, we recommend to use upgraded pump springs to aid in keeping the roller in contact with the cam at higher rpm.

Not recommended for use in 16mm pump builds but should you decide to install this cam with 16mm plungers and barrels, we recommend staying under 950cc of fuel max, setting LPC at 4.5mm max, and DLC coating your pins as well as rollers and running an injector that is capable of supporting 1,650 RWHP at MINIMUM.

All of our pump cams are for off-road use only. Buyer accepts all liability for their use. P-pumps in performance applications can occasionally stick the rack, which allows the pump to keep fueling until there is a loss of air via an air-shutoff, until the mechanical limits of the motor are reached, or you run out of road.  Installation needs to be handled by an experienced pump builder with the proper tools and test equipment.

Rule of thumb for where to set LPC or lift port closure.

  • 0-14mm of maximum rack travel (2.6  and 3.0 puller etc) LPC 4.75mm

  • 14mm-16mm of rack travel  LPC 4.5mm
