Whether you're seeking technical mastery or strategic insight, this course covers every angle of diesel performance and business success.

TONY SALAS

Antonio “Tony” Salas has been teaching classes nationwide for over 35 years. He is currently the course instructor for Powertrain Training. He specializes in Light and Medium Duty Diesel applications. His instruction focuses not only on product specifics, but use of diagnostic tools, service information, and critical thinking needed to take on, diagnose, and repair today’s trucks.

He has worked as an instructor for General Motors Fleet and ACDelco. Additionally, he has done contract training for Motorcraft, Standard Motor Products, Delphi and Independent shops. He is the former training manager for the Association of Diesel Specialists. His knowledge base encompasses diesel and automotive gasoline applications. This includes electronical training and networks. Tony works on automotive, and light- and medium-duty diesel vehicles daily which enables him to teach up-to-date real-life scenarios to help the technician diagnose and repair with more accuracy.

LENNY REED

Lenny has had over 25 years in the automotive industry. He started Cascade Diesel Performance in 1999 selling injectors and modules to enhance the performance of diesel trucks, while he was working as a cell tower worker for Douglas County PUD. After leaving Douglas County PUD, Lenny bought a DynoJet and started Dynomite Diesel Performance to continue to test theory behind enhancing injector performance. In order to fill the need for high quality injectors, he began modifying parts with an Extrude Hone in 2004. Dynomite Diesel Performance grew into a thriving diesel repair shop, Dynomite Diesel Garage, in Monroe, WA with 17 employees.

As the focus on fuel injectors grew, Dynomite Diesel Products (DDP) was created to continue work on building and modifying fuel injectors. In 2015, Lenny moved DDP to Idaho to expand manufacturing capabilities and create a separation and independence from Dynomite Diesel Garage. In 2018 DDG was phased out to allow DDP to grow, focusing on purchasing the technology, equipment, and tools to master the manufacturing process of injectors.

DDP continues to be focused on providing the best new and remanufactured injectors possible. Continued investment in machines and tools, research and development activities to continue to improve injector performance, and a drive for innovation and excellence fuels Dynomite Diesel Products whether it is adding their own remanufactured diesel fuel injector line, seeking out a patent for Pilot Hole Technology, or towards the future which includes being the only aftermarket nozzle manufacturer in the U.S.A.
